Food-grade 304/316L stainless steel bag filter housing with a tool-free quick-open lid and large dirt-holding capacity. Accepts PP, nylon or food-grade bags from 1 to 200 μm for coarse-to-fine clarification of juice, wine, condiments, edible oil and dairy, with fast bag changes for continuous production lines.
When a beverage, oil or condiment line needs to strip out coarse solids and residue without constant cartridge swaps, a bag filter earns its keep. This food-grade stainless steel bag filter housing pairs a large dirt-holding bag with a quick-open lid, so operators clear impurities fast and keep the line moving.
Overview
The vessel is fabricated entirely from food-grade stainless steel and polished to meet hygiene rules. A side-in, bottom-out flow path spreads liquid evenly across the bag, so the full filter area does the work and performance stays predictable.
A quick-release clamp lid opens with no special tools, slashing bag-change time and downtime. The housing accepts polypropylene, nylon or food-grade bags in a wide micron range, covering everything from coarse trash removal to fine polishing.
Single-bag, multi-bag and other layouts are available to fit the throughput and floor plan on site. It runs stand-alone or inline, and is at home in beverage, wine, condiment, edible-oil and dairy plants.
Key Features
- Food-grade stainless body – 304 or 316L with mirror-polished surfaces and no dead corners, easy to clean and sanitise.
- Tool-free quick-open lid – eye-bolt clamp closure lets crews change bags and clean inside in minutes, keeping production continuous.
- High dirt capacity – a large effective bag area holds plenty of solids at a low, steady pressure drop for long working cycles.
- Reliable sanitary seal – food-grade silicone or EPDM gaskets give leak-free, hygienic closure with no risk of re-contamination.
- Wide precision choice – bags from 1 to 200 μm let you match clarity to the product.
- Compact and easy to fit – a vertical footprint with clamp or flange connections and low maintenance cost.
How It Works
Under pressure, liquid enters through the side inlet, drops into the filter bag from top to bottom and passes through the fabric on the pressure differential.
Solids, suspended particles and residue stay trapped inside the bag, while the clarified filtrate leaves through the bottom outlet.
As solids build up, the pressure drop climbs. Once it reaches the set point or filtration falls off, stop the unit, open the quick-release lid, lift out the bag for cleaning or replacement, and put the filter back on line.
