This mobile duplex microporous filter rides on a stainless steel cart and switches between two housings on the fly, so sterile-grade filtration follows the work from station to station without stopping the line.
Overview
Everything sits on a caster-mounted stainless steel cart with a push handle: a pneumatic diaphragm pump for conveying, two parallel sanitary filter housings, and a full set of piping, valves and pressure gauges. No fixed installation is needed – just wheel it where it is required.
All contact parts are 304/316L food-grade stainless steel with sanitary clamp fittings, meeting food and pharmaceutical hygiene rules. Fit PP, PES, nylon or other microporous cartridges from 0.22μm to 50μm to move from fine clarification up to sterilising-grade filtration.
The duplex layout keeps one housing running while the other waits on standby. When the active element clogs, operators divert flow to the standby housing at once – production never pauses for a filter change.

How It Works
The pneumatic diaphragm pump draws feed into the system and sends it through a three-way valve into one of the two filter housings.
Inside, material flows through the microporous cartridge from outside to inside under pressure. Fine particles, solids, bacteria and microbes are held on and within the element, while clarified, sterilised filtrate exits the outlet.
When solids raise the differential pressure, the operator turns the switching valve to route flow to the standby housing. Production continues while the clogged housing is opened for element replacement, cleaning and maintenance.
